The challenge
What should a cancer clinic's website look like?
A medical website that reassures before it explains.
OncoCare brings clinical oncology, surgical oncology, chemotherapy and immunotherapy, radiotherapy, hematology, genomic testing, psycho-oncology, nutrition and palliative care together in one clinic, with locations in San Salvador and San Miguel.
People who land on this site are rarely browsing: they have just received a diagnosis, or they are standing next to someone who has. The site had to explain what the clinic does without overwhelming anyone, introduce every specialist by name and face, and make it obvious how to book an appointment.

What we did
What pages does a cancer center website need?
A page for every specialty, and the patient journey told in three steps.
We designed and built the site on WordPress, with a calm teal palette and photography of the clinic's team and facilities.
Nine specialties with their own page: clinical oncology, surgical oncology, chemotherapy and immunotherapy, radiotherapy and radiosurgery, hematologic oncology, genomic testing, psycho-oncology, oncology nutrition and palliative care.
Medical team: every specialist with photo, name and specialty, so patients know who they will see before they arrive.
How your care works: evaluation and diagnosis, a plan made for each patient and support at every stage, written for the patient rather than for the doctor.
Two locations: San Salvador and the Eastern Cancer Center in San Miguel, each with address, hours, phone and WhatsApp.
Health education: articles on prevention, treatment and emotional wellbeing, plus FAQs about care and appointments.

The result
How do you connect a website's appointment form to the clinic's calendar?
The appointment form does not end in a chat: it goes straight into OncoCRM, the scheduling system we built for OncoCare, with the reason for the visit, the location and the preferred time. If sending ever failed, the site offers WhatsApp as a fallback, so no request gets lost.
