A Toronto landscaping company whose website qualifies the job before the phone rings.

PROJECT

How do you turn a landscaping website into something that qualifies a job before anyone picks up the phone?

Yard On Time works across Toronto, and enquiries used to arrive as a phone call with almost nothing attached to it: no measurements, no service type, no way to tell a single driveway from a whole back garden. We replaced that with guided quote funnels, one per service, that ask the questions a foreman would ask on site.

Each funnel walks a visitor through four or five short steps: what the project is, how large it is, what preparation has already been done, and how to get back to them. A cost calculator sits alongside it so homeowners can size up sod and seasonal work themselves. By the time a lead reaches the inbox it is already described, which is what moved the site from a brochure into part of how the company runs.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

What did we deliver, and what did it take to make estimating self-service?

We designed and built the site on WordPress with Elementor, structured around the work Yard On Time actually sells: mowing and pruning, garden design, exterior repairs, seasonal cleanup, snow removal, soil treatment and mulching, and fence and deck restoration.

The harder half was the quote logic. Every service needs different questions, so each funnel is its own multi-step form with its own branching, and the calculator prices sod by service type and square footage. The whole site runs in four languages through an in-page translator, which matters in Toronto, and it is tuned for speed with full-page caching.

PROJECT GOALS

Replace unqualified phone calls with structured quote requests, so every lead arrives with its scope already described.

Let homeowners estimate cost on their own, and make the whole thing work as well on a phone in a driveway as it does on a desktop.

Fence installation quote wizard asking about the nature of the project
Landscape installation quote wizard asking what design preparation has been done
Lawn Perfection results section with a client testimonial
Contact page with the Toronto service area map and the enquiry form

The site now leads with a 4.8 Google rating drawn from more than nine hundred reviews, and the funnels handle the first round of qualifying before anyone on the team spends a minute on it. It is a small business site doing the job of an intake process, which is what a landscaping company needs when the season is short and every call arrives at once.
